Barbie got her groove on

Barbie was my first sculpture. In many ways, she was an experiment in design and construction, and there were lots of do-overs.  Frustrating, yes, but I always try something new on whatever I build.

Barbie's buyer saw herself in Barbie. I never expected this, and seeing that connection has become a wonderful part of selling my pieces.
